This Sunday Jess and Scott took me on a hike. We had lunch at the Rhododendron Cafe in Edison (http://www.rhodycafe.com/). Jess highly recommends this quaint cafe with seasonal menus and organic fare.
We went east on the Pacific Northwest Trail (http://www.pnt.org/) to Samish Overlook. Amazing views of Samish Island, the San Juan Islands, and the mainland. When we finally reached our destination, we were surprised to find cars at the top.

Also at the top were skydivers and hang-gliders. These fliers took off, and rode the prevailing winds to new heights.

We also found this rock at the top. Another gnome had already been to the top of Samish Overlook! Another great adventure with Jess and Scott!
